1. What areas do you cover for automatic driving lessons?

We offer automatic driving lessons in Burton on Trent area as well as the Amber Valley area of Derbyshire. Our instructors know the local roads well and can guide you through common test routes.

2. How much do automatic driving lessons cost?

3. What are some of the reasons why I should consider automatic driving lessons?

If you have already made your mind up to learn to drive in an automatic GREAT!, but just in case you are undecided whether automatic driving lessons are for you here are a few reasons (and some may surprise you) why you really should DO IT!

• Automatics are easier to drive; 1 pedal to go, 1 pedal to stop with no stalling or rolling back on hills.
• You can concentrate just on the road and everything happening around you, making driving much safer and more enjoyable
• It’s a cheaper and quicker way to learn to drive – On average people pass in around half the amount of lessons than in a manual.
• You can still upgrade your licence at a later date to a manual (Ask us about the OMG! Two-phase way of gaining your full manual licence)

4. How long are the driving lessons?

Standard lessons are 60 minutes long, but we also offer extended sessions of 90 minutes or 2 hours to accommodate your learning pace and availability.

5. Do you offer intensive driving courses?

Yes, we provide intensive driving courses for those looking to pass their test quickly. These courses are designed to fit your schedule and help you become test-ready in a shorter time frame.

6. How many lessons will I need to pass my test?

The number of lessons needed varies depending on individual learning progress. Our instructors will evaluate your driving skills and create a customized plan to prepare you for the test as efficiently as possible.

7. What happens if I need to cancel a lesson?

We understand that sometimes plans change. Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson to avoid any cancellation fees.

8. Do you cater to nervous or anxious drivers?

Absolutely! Our instructors are experienced in helping nervous and anxious drivers. We offer a supportive, patient approach to help you build confidence and feel at ease behind the wheel.

9. Do I need a provisional licence to start automatic driving lessons?

Yes, you must hold a valid provisional driving licence before you begin taking automatic driving lessons. You can apply for a provisional licence through the DVLA website.

9. Can I switch from manual to automatic lessons?

Yes, if you find manual driving challenging, you can switch to automatic lessons. Many students find automatic driving easier and less stressful, which can enhance the learning experience.
